Petrolicious Showcases Jack Olsen's "Black Beauty" Porsche 911 RSR

Petrolicious Showcases Jack Olsen's "Black Beauty" Porsche 911 RSR:

A frequent inclusion on dream car shortlists, the Porsche 911 has near infinite capability. Jack Olsen is a writer by trade, though his Porsche 911 RSR--often referred to as the "Black Beauty"-- is no work of fiction. In fact, the car has very serious history about it: the body of a 1972 911, combined with the engine of one from 1995, and a transaxle system from 1977. It's a functional Frankenstein, in many regards, and the various components obviously require a great deal of care. The project car looks no safer than in the hands of Olsen, who has dedicated the past 12 years to maintaining his vehicle. Petrolicious sat down with Olsen and was able to explore the specifications, capabilities, and home of the refined Porsche.
